VLOG: The Perfect Christmas Tree

Processed with VSCO with 4 preset

We loaded up the boys and headed to our favorite local tree lot.

Its run by a family that comes down all the way from Michigan to share their beautiful trees with a bunch of Texans. This is our 4th year purchasing tree from them and every year we’re just smitten with our tree. My close friend has been buying from them for 25 years and we met a lady while we were there that has been buying trees from them for 38 years!

That’s pretty special!

If you’re local to the DFW area and are looking for a wonderful tree lot Fred Moomeys Christmas Trees in Plano is where you want to go. You have to go early in the season though because the word is out and they get picked over pretty quickly (so keep this in mind for next year).

Let’s go tree hunting and do a little decorating too!

And just for fun here’s a super quick clip of our 1st visit to Fred Moomey’s Tree Lot. Just look at sweet chubby tiny Weston…..oh my heart!

  • JFlo - That British accent was on-point! Tree skirt, is it really a tree skirt or a blanket? It’s absolutely adorable!ReplyCancel

    • Kendra Huie - Hehehhe because the tree is obviously British, right? Our tree “skirt” is one of my most favorite things. It’s my in grab item if something crazy goes down (of course after all the living beings in our home are safe). It’s an old vintage quilt. We use it in our living room as decor but it turns into a make shift tree skirt during the Christmas.ReplyCancel
