Thrift With Me + Thrift Haul

I took a little break from National Blog Post Month yesterday.

I just didn’t feel right posting light hearted silliness with all that’s going on in the US so I stepped back took some time to write in my boy’s journals and tried to focus on the things I love about our nation. I’m not going to go into more detail as I’d rather not talk about politics here or on any of the social media platforms I use so I’ll leave it at that. I just wanted to explain why there was no post yesterday.

Is it’s okay to get back into the swing of things? I’m not really sure but here we go……

I popped into the thrift store last week and found some GREAT things! The plan was to share my thrifitng tips in action as we shopped but the boys were not letting that happen so it turned into a shop with me vlog and a haul. Not what I planned but still fun, right?

Let’s go thrifitng and see what we find! To watch via YouTube click HERE.

Here’s the album I mentioned in the vlog. I checked it from the library but you can buy it HERE
51g4oyioll-_ss500Have you found anything awesome while thrifting lately?

  • Mona S - Great finds! I listened to the Bing Crosby Christmas album growing up! My mom still has the album and I have a CD for the car.ReplyCancel

    • Kendra Huie - He can do now wrong! We love Bing on our house!ReplyCancel

  • Kelsey - Before I forget…I love the bloopers/outtakes at the end!!

Were you thrifting at Goodwill? If so, yours is the CLEANEST I’ve ever seen! I’m so jealous. All the ones that I’ve been to in Central Arkansas have everything just thrown onto shelves. I might need to take a trip to Dallas…

And I love your bench topper! I would totally hang that on the wall or put it on my mantle ReplyCancel

    • Kendra Huie - Heheheh thank you! I always wonder if anyone ever makes it to the end!

Yep I was a Goodwill. They do a pretty good job of keeping like things together but. It’s not amazing organized but it’s not bad. Ummmm how awesome would it be to have a Dallas thrifting day!?!?!?!

Yes! I thought the same for our mantel. I think it would be so pretty up against our big mirror with a Christmas wreathe hung over it.ReplyCancel

  • JFlo - LOOOOOOOOVE everything about this!!! Can we do a thrift haul play date?! I mean, seriously.ReplyCancel

    • Kendra Huie - YES! I would love that and the boys are always up for a thrifting adventure. They love it as much as I do.ReplyCancel
