Movies You Could Watch Over and Over

Each year when the holidays hit I start itching to watch movies and lots of them.

Not just any movie but movies that hold a special place in my heart. They may not even be my favorites but they’re movies that I could watch over and over.

We don’t own very many DVDs. We have a few I’ve thrifted for the boys and couple of my favorites (Legends of the Fall, Dirty Dancing, Hocus Pocus, Elf) but that’s about it. Since I’m noticing this trend of wanting to watch some of my favorites each year around this time I figured why not come up with a list so I can keep an eye out for them while I’m thrifting!

In no particular order here’s my list so far as I’m 100% sure I’m missing some. Hopefully you guys can help round out my list by sharing some of your favorites.

Side Note: How in the world do we not own Princess Bride?

  • Haley M - You have some great ones on here, some of my faves! Secret Garden, Because I Said So (my family to a T!), Under the Tuscan Sun (The book is great too, completely different from the movie), My Fair Lady!

Pride and Prejudice 2005 is also a fave, and can’t go wrong with Harry Potter, especially in the fall. Lord of the Rings too. Oh, and we ALWAYS watch V for Vendetta on the Fifth of November, because…of course we do. And I’ve been seriously craving a Titanic rewatch.

Hubs is more of a movie buff than I am, but now I want to go watch some of these 🙂ReplyCancel

    • Kendra Huie - Harry Potter is a good one! I’ve never read the books so the movies were my only taste of Harry Potter. I lost it when Dobby died…..lost it!ReplyCancel
