Books to Read in 2016

Quote about Reading John Green

On of my goals this year is to read more.

I love love love to read BUT and it’s a big BUT……

I need a book that grabs my attention and holds on tight.

My mind is easily distracted and constantly all over the place. Its like well oiled pinball machine.
Books that are just okay or lag in certain areas don’t do it for me.

If I’m going to read it cover to cover it must be packed with “WHAT THE WHAT” moments and tug at my heart.

I’ve come across a few books in my time that have done this for me and when I find them I read them over and over annnnd over. Sometimes I’ll even give the audio version a whirl as well!

Towards the end of last year I started doing my research and compiling my list of books that claim to tug at your heart grab your attention and hold on tight!
Y’all know I love me some research before I make my mind up about something so I looked at reading list, blogs, read reviews, checked out a few websites and here ya have it…….

My 2016 reading list!

Attention Grabbing Books

  1. Big Magic Creative Living Beyond Fear by Elizabeth Gilbert
  2. Better then Before by Gretchen Rubin
  3. The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up by Marie Kondo
  4. Luckiest Girl Alive by Jessica Knoll
  5. The Husband’s Secret by Liane Moriarty
  6. The Rosie Project by Graeme Simsion
  7. Reconstructing Amelia by Kimberly McCreight
  8. What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty
  9. Dark Places by Gillian Flynn

There’s a little bit of everything on there romance, mystery, and something yummy for my brain.

Oh and one book that rounds out a series that I’m ga ga about.
If falls under the sifi romance category (I know, I know, don’t judge me) I was too embarrassed to add to my list
